PHONE CALLS FROM THE GRAVE

On September 12, 2008, two trains collided in Los Angeles, killing 25 people. One of the passengers who died was named Charles E. Peck who was heading to L.A. for a job interview. He really hoped to get this job so he could marry his fiancé, Andrea Katz, who lives in California.

After the fateful accident happened, Charles' cell phone made repeated calls to his fiancé, sister, stepmother, and brother. But every time they picked up, they didn't hear anything, and when they called back, they found that his cell phone was dead. Charles's family could only hope that Charles survived and tried to call them to give them the news.

When rescue teams tracked Charles' phone signal, they found Charles' body under the wreckage of the train. After an investigation, they concluded that Charles died instantly when the collision occurred and he couldn't possibly have called. By the way, they never found his cell phone.
